Chair Papers

The Chair Papers collection is a publication of the Pau Casals UNESCO Chair for the Music, Defence of Peace and Human Rights, created with the aim of disseminating the results of the research projects it develops.

This initiative serves the purpose of knowledge transfer and the international promotion of Pau Casals’ legacy. The collection stems from the research work promoted by the Chair on the cellist, focusing both on his musical career and on the universal values he championed throughout his life—human rights, peace, and the role of music and culture in human development.
